The Colors of Decay

Welcome to my world, the world of decay. I am an explorer of the unseen, the off limits, the hidden and simply forgotten. With my pictures I try to capture the beauty of natural decay, in that moment before it is trashed, demolished or restored. I roam hospitals, castles, manors, factories and private homes. Often the buildings are not freely accessible, and there is an element of danger in my mission. But I always try to find a way in, within reason, for that one special picture. In my photography, I use only available natural light. My goal in post processing is merely to recreate the image as it would appear to the human eye, so that the viewer sees through my eyes. This is my invitation to you, to join me on a journey into the world of decay.
